Went to Cotton Mill Kilmarnock. I usually attend here once a week with my friends or Nurse. I have a Registered Service Dog and usually never have a problem. Myself and my Nurse decided to go here for Christmas dinner this year and what a bloody awful experience we had.
Shift Manager tried to put us at a table of 2 in middle of restaurant which is absolutely no use. When booking comment was added that Carly was coming. We tried to explain that we need a 4 seat table due to Health & Safety for not only the staff, other customers but for Carly and us as well. Shift manager had to call duty manager as she was the one handling the seating. We got told nothing until the evening of Christmas when we turned up for our reservation at 17:30. The did give us a table of 4 but we where rushed from the minute we where sat at our table.
The food was absolutely ridiculous and definitely reheated. Neither of us could eat the Turkey as very dry and flavour was nothing. Vegetables couldn’t be eaten just overall the food and experience was horrible for not only me, my nurse but also my service dog. Kids were chucking things at my nurse I just couldn’t believe it because we attend here often. We have decided maybe we will just change our weekly outing to another restaurant for the time being as I just couldn’t believe the way we were treated. My nurse was fuming at the whole experience. Mortified as my hyper functioning Ileostomy burst also and we were seated the furthest away from bathroom even though we also reminded them of this as like I said we attend here on average weekly. I had to get up walk through the restaurant while people were having Christmas dinner with fecal matter over my clothes and all over me under my clothes. This resulted in us actually have to go pay for our extras and miss out on part of our Christmas experience. Was absolutely mortified and embarrassed.

Waitresses huff
We went to the West Bromwich one and served by Elaine. Food wasn't perfect and undercooked. It was cold too. As for Elaine's service ?she went off in a huff after she forgot to ask in regards to allergies. She stormed off saying I'll have to start again! We thought she was joking as she was fine until that moment. Complained recently to a mgr who didn't suggest come in to have a drink on them or anything ?

We went to the submariner (cookhouse and pub) in Rhyl, North Wales! We had an awesome meal, staff were lovely and the menu was very well priced, lovely atmosphere with nothing too much for the staff to help you with, thank you for a fabulous Anniversary meal that didn't disappoint xx

Good food and service. Short measures on beer
Good food and service, but short measures with the Staropramen are a big NO from me. This beer is expensive enough, so I don’t expect to be sold short with too large a head on the pint. I’ll expect a full one next time.

The whole team at submariner where just amazing, super friendly, happy and well present. A bit shout out to Leanne, Lace and Caz. Who made an out of towner feeling very welcome. Was here on business but so impressed with all the team going to bring my family here for a long weekend.

I went to cookhouse and pub in ripley on Saturday and it was a lovely environment.
However the food was shocking.
Our meals came out cold and we paid £15 for the chicken and rib dish and out came a dried up small chicken breast and 4 boned ribs. It was tiny a small blob of coleslaw and cold chips!
This kids meals were all dry and steak came out wrong also twice. The kitchen looked messy as it was open.
Also they are advertising the crème egg sundae and it’s not what it is advertised. We saw them come out and hardly any syrup and it was supposed to be topped with half a crepe egg and that was missing.

The food was great, the price was even better! Would also like to give a huge shout out to our server, Sarah. She really made our visit worthwhile, with her friendly attitude and her warm demeanor. A real star!

Had a family meal for four at the…
Had a family meal for four at the Prestatyn Cookhouse had already spent £75 on meals and drinks. We were asked if we needed sauces. My girlfriends daughter said yes barbacue please, the waitress came back and said that will be £2 for a tiny pot that she said was homemade. It tasted awful, homemade what a joke straight out of a bottle. Will not be using this chain of penny pinching rip off merchants again.
Wouldn't recommend this place to no one
Having booked a table for 7pm, we got ther just after 6:30pm (23.2.22). The duty manager that we in charge showed us to our table and told us that Emma was our waitress. She came and asked what we wanted to drink straight away, I asked her if they accepted Blue Light Card, she went to get the duty manager and she said that they only accept the card and not the app, which I totally understood. Because of this our waitress said that she will give us complimentary drinks.
After waiting 45 minutes for our food order to be taken, one of my party asks for the duty manager if they were coming to take our order. She said that she didn't appreciate being spoken to in an 'alleged' rude manner, that our waitress is is training and asking us if we wanted to leave (to which we did not leave.) We asked of our waitress was being supervised by the duty manager because then we would have been informed and expected and accepted that there would be a delay. The duty manager then told us that she is not going to belittle her staff to customers, even though we would have been accepting of it. Our order was eventually taken and we had a nice meal. We noticed that our complimentary drinks were included on the bill, we asked the waitress about it and she calims that she never offered them. The duty manager then came over, sent our waitress outside to have a munute because we apparently upset her. She believed her over a party of 4 people. Throughout our entire stay, only our waitress and the duty manager - Beth served our table.
Non of this is the waitress fault, it is the duty manager's fault for being rude, abrupt and raising her voice saying that she has worked hard to get where she is and that she has hospitality skills - when the clearly doesn't.
The floors in the toilets were sticky, there was a werid smell, one if the cubicle had toilet roll all over it. There was no cleaning rota sign posted eith a signature to say that they have been cleaned.
How we have been treated tonight, to which I am truly disappointed I wouldn't recommend this place to no body.

Ruined Christmas!!!
Somewhat tired interior, staff good. HOWEVER - less than 2 days later my wife & I suffered the most dreadful vomiting and diarrhoea. This was so bad that my wife had an adrenal crisis, was rushed into A&E, where she is 3 days later. Consultant believed it to be food poisoning. The ONLY time we eat out and the ONLY thing that is common to our food intake is the brie wedges and salmon-en-crout at this restaurant. It ruined Christmas for us, my wife missing out on seeing our grandkids. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

Honourable Pilot - SHOCKING service. :-(
Stayed at the Premier Inn next to the Honourable Pilot. Arrived for breakfast at 0930, finally managed to order a cooked meal at 0950, which arrived at 1040, cold and incomplete. Due to an appointment we didn't have time to wait for the order to be corrected so the meal was left uneaten. I was going to speak to a member of staff to complain but none were available and I didn't have time to wait. There was also a significant lack of food and drink on the continental servery. Very disappointed.

Was a Premier Inn customer and had bought the meal deal.
Was sat down at a dirty table. I had to ask to have it wiped down.
The starter arrived on a greasy plate and wasn't given any cutlery or napkin. I had to ask for it.
The I was given the wrong main course and had to send it back.
When my main course came I was again not given any cutlery or napkin.
The fish & chips were extremely greasy.
Overall a poor experience and not somewhere I would recommend.
